Andbox has added to its Valorant roster by signing 20-year-old Aleksandar “aleksandar” Hinojosa to its team.
The New York City-based organization made the announcement on Monday.
The Andbox official Twitter account posted, “We’re just getting started. @aleksandarosa, living proof that Skye is a duelist. Welcome to the Andbox fam. Can’t wait to see what you can cook up with the rest of the squad.”
After playing for a mixed-gender unit for Evil Geniuses until June, aleksandar has participated in several lower-tiered events for Andbox since August during a trial period.
The Andbox squad has undergone substantial turnover this summer, with three players departing since the beginning of July — including Jaccob “yay” Whiteaker, Noah “jcStani” Smith and Sebastian “seb” Bucki.
The New York Excelsior of the Overwatch League and New York Subliners of the Call of Duty League are both also helmed by Andbox.
