Heroic, Vitality move to 2-0 at ESL Pro League Season 14

Heroic, Team Vitality and ENCE picked up sweeps on Tuesday in the ESL Pro League Season 14 event.

That marked two sweeps in two days for Heroic and Vitality, which now lead Group A at 2-0.

Heroic took down Team Spirit 2-0 with wins of 16-8 on Overpass and 16-9 on Inferno.

Ismail “refrezh” Ali of Denmark starred for Heroic, finishing with 46 kills and a plus-23 kills-to-deaths differential. Team Spirit’s top performer was Russian Abdul “degster” Gasanov, with 35 kills and a plus-2 differential.

In similar fashion, Vitality notched 16-9 wins on Inferno and Overpass to defeat Bad News Bears.

Frenchman Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut led Vitality with 45 kills and a plus-17 kills-to-deaths differential. American Michael “Swisher” Schmid had 36 kills for Bad News Bears.

ENCE grabbed its first win of the event by defeating Astralis 2-0, courtesy of a 16-9 victory on Ancient and 16-11 triumph on Nuke.

Poland’s Olek “hades” Miskiewicz paced ENCE with 48 kills and a plus-23 K-D differential. Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen and Philip “Lucky” Ewald each had 37 for all-Danish side Astralis.

The champion of the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive event will receive $175,000 of the $750,000 prize pool plus 1,300 Pro Tour points.
